With an appropriate hand-strippable coat, individual mature hairs eventually reach a stage where they can be removed from the follicle as part of the coat’s natural cycle.

Instead of cutting these hairs shorter, the groomer removes suitable mature hairs using the fingers and, where appropriate, specialized stripping tools.
